Sunday Night at the Beach

The Banana and Mr. Sneaky Pants had already been swimming at  the beach for several hours with friends while Mr. TOF and I drove YaYa and two other kids to Bible Camp.  We got back and I threw some supper at the people who hadn’t had supper yet, while the people who had eaten already practiced an instrument of their choice.  I almost didn’t go to the beach at all, because it was just a chaotic and busy night, but at the very last minute I decided I would regret it if I didn’t at least try to take one picture, since it was Sunday night after all.  Mr. SP elected to stay home, so the youngest kidlets jumped in the van and we headed down to the rocky beach just as the sun was setting, parking the car at the first opportunity we had, jumping out to enjoy those last few minutes of light.  We didn’t stay long, but the evening was beautiful and I’m really glad we went after all.  When am I not glad that we went to the beach?  We’ve been there a lot the last few days, and since the weather for the next week looks hot with heavy humidity, i anticipate we will be there  quite a bit in the upcoming days to relax by the crystal, freezing water.  And that’s OK.  It’s great.  We love the beach anytime.
