Halloween Costumes
The Banana came up with the most hilarious Halloween costume. I think it might even top her chicken ballerina costume when she was two. Inspired by the new curlers we tried out a few weeks ago, she decided to be a crazy cat lady. We tied up her hair in these crazy colorful curlers, and she found all sorts of layers and big sweaters to wear along with costume jewelry. In her apron pockets she carried stuffed cats, and she wore my slightly too big snow boots. Everything was offset by crazy green eyeglasses frames, and she carried a large, oversized striped bag. Best of all, this costume was made with things that we already had and cost nothing! Woohoo!
The Banana’s friend came to go trick or treating with her. She was dressed as a fox.
Mr. TOF decided to be a marching band guy. He continues to really love marching bands.
The cousins joined in as a princess, a care bear, and a cat mummy (which was a terrific costume). Mr. SP was an extra set of hands during the trick or treat extravaganza, dressed as a wizard from Harry Potter.
What a group! I unfortunately could not go trick or treating with them because I had a choir rehearsal, but by all reports, they had an excellent time. Grandma Kathy stayed with Cousin Elizabeth, who did not dress up because she wasn’t feeling well.
