Conquered

No I am not dead.

I have however, conquered the post office!  My Christmas cards have been mailed.  The packages traveling to long distance friends and family have almost all been mailed.  Hooray.  It’s been hanging over my head for multiple days, and I’m so glad that it’s done, even if it did take me all day to get it done!

I love having a big stack of Christmas cards to mail all at once.  I love how all the envelopes are the same size and shape.  Christmas cards are one of my favorite things about the season.  I love getting them. I love sending them.  I’m super excited because I used some birthday money to purchase a return address stamp.  It didn’t come in time to stamp all of my Christmas cards, but if you are getting snail mail from me in the future, it will be stamped with my return address.  I really, really love the design I found from an Etsy shop.

It’s crazy time here.  There are so, so many concerts and special activities and extra things this month, and we are in the the thick of it.  Also, on top of that, we have been battling a series of colds and viruses.  The germs seem to just travel from one person to the next, and then new germs arrive.  Hence my lack of posting.  But I’m going to get back in the game.  Things will actually settle down in some ways for the next few days.
