2022 Sunday Night at the Beach: Edition 8
It was the first trip to the beach for Peanut Maximus! At the end of the night Dr. Peds said to me, “He likes teh beach! You will have a beach buddy for many more years.” Hooray! The beach is exponentially more fun with a little person.
It was a perfect beach night. The air was calm and a beautiful temperature. The light was soft and buttery. The whole family came along (except for YaYa who had left for her fall semester).
Mr. Trouble on Feet was in the water skipping rocks for most of the evening.
The Devious Snail brought his long board because we went to the rocky beach, which is closed except for pedestrians due to construction. However, the new bike path has already been constructed, and it is smooth and lovely, and perfect for wheeled recreation.
Peanut Maximus had his first toe dip into Lake Superior. He was not exactly a fan, but the cry only lasted a couple of seconds.
The Banana tried out the long board with a little assistance from the Devious Snail.
Peanut Maximus was ready for a snack and then spent a little time flying like superman over the water.
We all had a fantastic evening.

So fun and exciting to see pictures of Peanut Maximus and family. I love how you tell a story with your pictures.

Dear Ms. Rachel,
Your new little guy is exquisitely darling!!!! Oh my goodness melt my heart. Congratulations!!! I’m so happy for you.
I had a surprise baby boy a couple years ago, bringing our total to five as well. I’m not good at having a big family (like you are), but I continue to look to you for inspiration!
We moved to Texas last year and I often think about how much you would hate it here! The season called “Hell’s Front Porch” lasts 3 months! LOL!
Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful photos. I was delighted to learn in your last post that you were expecting, and was so eager to see the newest member! He could not be more beautiful! Well done mama.
Love from Texas!
