I Want to Point Out

I want to take a moment to let you know that my husband just passed his driver’s test so that he can now be a legal resident of Minnesota. He scored three questions better than I did when I took the driver’s test a couple of months ago (Sadly, I only scored something like an 84%). The fact that he outscored me didn’t really surprise me (even though we all know who the most brilliant member of the family is!) especially since he’s been taking big important multiple choice tests constantly the eight years we have been married, and I haven’t bothered with a multiple choice test since 1999.

HOWEVER: The doctor of the house missed the practice question before the test really began on the computer, which happened to be: “What is the capital city of Minnesota?” He really, truly clicked Minneapolis, and was shocked to find out his answer was incorrect.

Obviously someone slept through grade five. I think I may have to check out some nonfiction library books about Minnesota for him.
