At the Cabin Park 7: The Encyclopedia of Immaturity

Every year at the cabin we celebrate Auntie Dot’s birthday.  This year, after ice cream cake and festivities, Auntie Amy Texas unveiled a present giving extravaganza:  one carefully chosen present for each person at the cabin in honor of Grandma The Great.  Grandma The Great always gave everyone a small present so they wouldn’t feel left out on a birthday.  All of Auntie Amy’s gifts were painstakingly thought out, fitting the recipient perfectly.  It was the kind of present giving that I would never in ten million years be able to pull off.  For example, my gift was a drinking class that looks exactly like one of my camera lenses.  Funny!  And perfect.

Auntie Amy gave Miranda her own copy of “The Encyclopedia of Immaturity.”  You can see the delight on Miranda’s face.  She was very excited!  While I didn’t actually read the book, I can attest that many of the cousins spent lots of time paging through it and trying out ideas.
