Little One

This week some of our favorite friends from residency visited very briefly, stopping for a short overnight stay on their way moving from Wisconsin to Montana. It’s only been just a few months since I moved away from them, but it was so good to see them, and so amazing to see how their kids have changed in just a few short months. Their daughters are very close in age to Mr. Perpetual Mess and The Banana, and our kids have played together often over the last few years as we have enjoyed chatting together and a plethura of church activities. Not only will I miss our great friends, who seem so very far away in Montana, but I’ll miss seeing our kids play together. I was very unexpectedly sad when it came time for them to drive off.

This is The Banana’s little pal. She just turned one and started to walk. She was a bit out of sorts at our house from traveling, but she somehow graced me with these wonderful expressions.
