Doctor Noah and Doctor Sarah at Work

It has been awhile since we’ve taken out our doctor play box. The other day Ms. CP remembered about it and we got it out of her closet. I figured they would probably do some medical work on dolls or stuffed animals, but oh no, they had bigger and better plans of using The Banana as their patient. She loved the attention. It was a flurry of activity: taking temperatures, measuring blood pressure, listening to imaginary heartbeats and administering a lot of invisible medicine. At first Desctructoman was delegated by his big sister to be the nurse, but that got old really fast and he wanted more of the action, so after a lot of convincing, I persuaded Ms. CP that in real hospitals doctors worked together on patients, and Desctructoman could be a doctor as well.

Apparently Ms. Crazy Preschooler has been paying a lot of attention when we’ve taken The Banana to the doctor, because after examining the baby, she gave me a very lively explanation of exactly what I needed to do to take care of her using large medical words and this card.
